Planning Commission Information Request on Transportation Projects.

Action Requested:
The Planning Commission (PC) is requested to review the draft PC resolution based off the motion from the November 16, 2023 PC meeting, which approved a resolution be drafted to include problem statements, project options, and staff recommendations as part of materials to the PC and the PC is requested to review the memo provided by Vice-Chair Heisler to discuss what items should be included as part of materials to the PC.
Summary Report:
At the November 16, 2023 PC meeting, staff asked for feedback on TH 246 and Lincoln Parkway. From that discussion, feedback was given on the projects and discussion led to needing more information to give feedback.
Chair Buckheit, Vice-Chair Heisler, Commissioner Schroeer, Jake Reilly - Community Development Director and Mikayla Schmidt - City Planner, met to review the resolution and discuss bringing the item back to the PC.
Attached is the resolution for the PC’s consideration as well as the memo drafted by Vice-Chair Heisler for the PC to discuss.
Either option could be approved as part of how the review of transportation projects be presented to the PC.

Either option could be amended or a new one proposed.
