No action. The EDA will hear a presentation on the City’s branding efforts to increase tourism and economic development activity within Northfield.
Summary Report:
Jeff Johnson will provide the presentation. He has been working with the City’s Communication staff on a multi-year effort to re-establish the City’s image from a branding perspective. Because there is a significant economic development focus to the branding work, the EDA shall offer commentary and feedback on the presentation and overall direction. There are funds budgeted in 2024 for the EDA to contribute to these efforts.

$20,000 is budgeted for 2024 for “Advertising” expenses.
