Action Requested:
The Planning Commission (PC) is requested to read an assigned Section of the City’s Land Development Code.
Summary Report:
As part of the PC Work Plan, one of the duties of the PC is, “To make recommendations to the city council regarding the adoption of the official comprehensive plan for Northfield or any amendments.” As part of the work beginning around the Comprehensive Plan (CP), the PC work plan notes as a strategy to prepare for the CP update to read part or all Chapter 34 - Land Development Code of City Ordinances.
The PC is asked to read Subsection 3.6 - Off-Street Parking, Loading, and Mobility and 3.7 - Pedestrian Access and Circulation of the LDC.
